Our experience shows that most of our customers pay a small import fee. However, outside of the European Union, every country has its own customs rules and regulations. We can’t guarantee that you don’t have to pay taxes and/or duties.
Any import taxes and/or duties will be for the account of the customer.

Again, this rarely happens, but if your package is held by customs, you can best contact them directly and explain the products in your package are for the personal use of your baby, that you know the packaging is in a foreign language and that you have instructions on how to prepare the formula. We take special measures to guarantee that our formulas are not irradiated when they are imported to the U.S., as this is important for the health of your baby. The only products that are being irradiated are those that are perishable such as fruits, vegetables and herbs. None of our products are considered perishable.

Louloukaformula.com only offers organic formula from Europe. European organic standards are very strict and organic food is taken very seriously here. These high standards obviously also apply to the organic formula that we sell. We see that the organic standards are often more loose in other continents and it shows in the products available in those markets (like the USA or Canada). We’re happy to provide the organic quality from Europe to all of you not being able to buy it in your local grocery store!

Most of the common formulas available in grocery stores outside of Europe (even the organic type) can contain ingredients such as sweeteners (like sugar or high-fructose corn syrup), carcinogens such as artificial preservatives, artificial flavors and artificial colors. Most of the common milk-based formulas are produced by cows that are not fed an organic diet and that receive hormone and/or antibiotic treatments - all of which can be transferred to the formula and digested by babies.
Organic standards for food in the European Union are very strict and the whole chain, from every small ingredient to the feed and treatment of the cows, is controlled before the formula can be certified as organic in Europe.

Most countries outside of Europe have food authorities that have either loose regulations regarding the term “Organic” and aren’t as developed as the food authorities in the European Union. Organic food production and consumption is advanced in Europe and we hope this will also happen in other countries in the world, as it’s simply so much better for the human body and the environment. But until that happens, Louloukaformula.com is here to bring the best formula from Europe to you, wherever you are!

Babies need certain levels of nutrients at different stages in their development. With that in mind, it’s recommended that babies are switched to the appropriate stage based on their age.
